In my opinion it isn’t actually Christmas time until I see the Coca Cola advert on the tv, so imagine my festive joy when I found out that the Coca Cola Truck was traveling to Chester for the day. So on went my coat and wooly jumper and I braved the rain that’s constantly falling, to go and see it in all it’s glory!
Turns out I (obviously) wasn’t the only one who had the same idea. However we (myself and my reluctant other half who isn’t full of festive cheer) got there when it wasn’t as busy, meaning we got a good nose at the truck, an ice cold mini can of Coca Cola (that even had the #holidaysarecoming branded onto it) and we got to hear a Coca Cola choir singing that famous tune. I mean just imagine putting part of the Coke choir on your CV!
Of course, I couldn’t leave without having my picture taken next to the truck, so here I am (I promise I’m super excited and festive, even though I probably look a little cold in this picture)!
Then after that brief visit it was off to hit the stores for Christmas gifts, and beg for the giant Disney toy that I’ve been told I can’t have. I also checked out a new burger joint that has just opened on Bridge Street, it’s called Burger Shed 41 and it does a really great burger. Their cheese fries however are to die for, if you’re nearby and fancy some great food I’d check it out after you’re shopped out!
The Coca Cola Truck is doing it’s holidays are coming tour around the UK up until 24th December, so fingers crossed you’ll all get to see it and feel just like that little boy in the advert! Oh I do love Christmas- fa la la la laa, la la la laaaa!
