Looking at the pictures makes me miss this beautiful place even more. About 85,000 steps were taken (thanks Health app for keeping us updated there) over the space of about 3 days to see this incredible city. All the hidden streets, the statues, the fact if you accidentally turn left you’ll be lost for at least 25 minutes attempting to find your way back, the food (oh the food!), the people and the atmosphere made this city one of my favourites to date. We watched the sun set over the famous Charles Bridge while wrapped in a blanket, we sealed a lock to the Love Lock Bridge next to the John Lennon wall, we saw a polar bear have a wee (can’t help that it’s nature!) at the zoo and got well and truly lost while looking for the river and came to a statue of two naked men, as you do. We ate too much pizza and goulash and I wanted to steal all the trdelnik (a soft but crispy dough warm slathered in Nutella and rolled in almonds and cinnamon sugar). I ate too much at breakfast every day and we even got our heads around the transport system (much easier and quicker than back here). It was a great trip and now I’d quite like to go back and do it all over. Thanks for the memories Prague.
(Oh and the fireworks display was random and we happened to be in the right place at the right time, don’t you love it when that happens?)
