Felt like putting a nice picture to the start of this post. One of the only things I truly enjoy about winter is when it’s oh so cold, but the sky is blue and I can wear a scarf (and gloves and hat and Christmas tree jumper) without being judged as an Eskimo, it’s December for heavens sake. Let me live in layers/ my pjs the second I’m inside the house.
Anyway, the topic of this post, SPSS, don’t get me wrong it’s helpful, it does the job in 10 seconds (better than excels 30 minutes) but I don’t like it. I don’t like how blue it is, how the codes work or the overall look. But you know what adds insult to injury? Having to use it every year to calculate the chi-squared statistic. If I do anymore of this test I may as well turn into the statistic and move into the critical values for 5% significance. That’s just my opinion.
I have my works Christmas party tonight, an excuse to go out and drink and be merry and maybe meet a nice boy. But that won’t happen, you know why? 1. I don’t drink (unless you count a celebratory cocktail for handing in all uni work as an alcohol addiction) 2. I’m far too sensible and 3. I have never pulled anyone on a night out.
I am a monumental disappointment aren’t I? Then again what is a typical 20 year old meant to be like?
