Ok so a beauty post has never actually graced this site but seen as I am a creature of habit (read: I do pretty much the same thing to my face every day) I wanted to share my favourite items that I can’t be without.
Can I just say here that I really am low maintenance; no blush, bronzer, concealer, foundation or lip related items are used on a normal day; so I’d make the worst beauty blogger in existence. Brilliant news.
So the things I can’t be without are:
Glasses make my eyes look big and googly so a little definition goes a long way. My long time favourite is the Soap & Glory Thick and Fast; except for the slightly rude name this really is good. No clumps, black lashes, volume, length, curve- yeah you get the jist. It’s a good egg. A newer and more recent favourite (and a steal at £2.80!) is the Essence Maximum Volume mascara, it’s a cheaper alternative to the S&G one. Can’t go wrong really.
I really like pinky, golden shades. Kind of a rose champagne colour. They’re basically the best thing that comes on bread, or the bee’s knee’s if you may. My favourite is from the Wet and Wild Comfort Zone palette (note how used it is in the image above AND the fact I’ve broken the lid off the compact, it’s loved.) Sadly it’s hard to get in the UK (amazon is the only stockist) but it’s readily available in the US. (Yes I have considered going to America just to stock up on this palette.)
I use a couple of brushes, my most used ones being the Sephora crease crush, the Elf Complexion brush and a random eye brush off the internet, it’s slightly angled and is soft as a furry throw. Dreamy.
Every so often I change it up; eye liner here, glitter there, possible use of lip gloss every so often, occasional blush. But alas that’s not for everyday you cheeky ones!
